MASI has been actively advocating for the right to education for all individuals seeking refuge in Ireland. While significant progress has been made in recent years, we continue to face numerous challenges that hinder the full realisation of this right.
Recently, we published a comprehensive report detailing the obstacles that International Protection Applicants (IPAs) encounter in accessing education in Ireland. This document sheds light on the systemic issues, such as delays in the asylum process, lack of support services, and inadequate access to resources, which prevent IPAs from fully participating in Ireland’s educational system.
